Method

Sift together 2 cups cake flour, 1 tsp baking powder, 1 tsp baking soda, and 1/2 tsp salt. ×

Cream 1/2 cup butter and 1 1/2 cups sugar. ×

Add 1 egg and 1 cup mashed banana. ×

Add 3/4 cup sour milk and 1 tsp vanilla. Alternately add the sifted dry ingredients and the sour milk mixture into the creamed batter, mixing until just combined. ×

Pour batter into a greased and floured pan. Bake at 375°F for approximately 20 minutes. ×
