Strawberry Shortcake

Ingredients

  • 2/3 cups sugar
  • 1/4 cups butter
  • 1/2 cups milk
  • 1 1/2 cups flour
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 vanilla (to taste)
  • 2 eggs

Method

  1. Cream sugar and butter. Add eggs and vanilla.
  2. Add dry ingredients alternately with milk.
  3. Bake in greased pan (cake size) at 350° about 20 minutes.
  4. Slice and add berries. Serve with whipped cream.
